We invite you to join us as we are on the lookout for a motivated QA Automation Engineer to enhance our technology department. In this role, you’ll play a key part in suggesting ideas for automated software test procedures, identifying problem areas, tracking bugs, and ensuring software installation is seamless. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with Developers and Project Managers to test and refine key features of software programs. Your proficiency in developing well-structured test plans/cases will be vital in driving the quality of our software solutions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the software design team to establish effective verification protocols.
  • Identify weaknesses and areas for improvement within software applications.
  • Contribute creative ideas for automated software test procedures.
  • Analyze software bug reports and address problem areas.
  • Develop and implement automation scripts for software applications.
  • Design and implement software databases to support testing efforts.
  • Troubleshoot automation software and finalize system procedures.
  • Identify quality issues and generate comprehensive test reports.
  • Work closely with the design team to troubleshoot application faults.

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Up to 3 years of prior experience as a QA Engineer, QA Tester, or in a relevant IT position.
  • Thorough understanding of automation systems and databases.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Familiarity with scripting and related procedures.
  • Expertise in automation testing tools like Selenium, Katalon Studio, and Cucumber.
  • Knowledge of testing protocols and methodologies.
  • Understanding of various testing methods, including white box and black box testing.
  • Familiarity with the software development process.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage project deadlines and work well within a team.
  • Effective time management and organizational abilities.
