Job Summary:

The Business Development Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the business development of strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a strategic mindset. The Business Development Coordinator will collaborate with the business development team to identify new opportunities, assist in creating and implementing strategies, and support the overall growth and expansion of the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Market Research and Analysis:

Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive landscape. (That are significant in achieving the Gather and analyze data on market segments, objectives of the job) target customers, and market opportunities.

Assist in evaluating and assessing new market entry strategies and business opportunities.

Monitor industry news, competitor activities, and market developments to identify potential risks and opportunities.

  1. Lead Generation and Prospecting:

Conduct outreach activities, including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking events.

Maintain a database of leads and prospects, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.

Collaborate with the sales team to nurture leads and facilitate the conversion process.

  1. Proposal Development and Presentations:

Support the business development team in preparing and customizing proposals and presentations.

Conduct research and gather relevant information to include in proposals and presentations.

Assist in creating compelling content and visual materials to effectively communicate value propositions.

Ensure proposals and presentations are delivered in a timely manner and meet quality standards.

  1. Relationship Management:

Collaborate with the business development team to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and communications with clients and prospects.

Assist in developing and implementing strategies to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.

Support the maintenance of customer relationship management (CRM) systems and databases.

  1. Reporting and Analysis:

Prepare regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Analyze sales and business development data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to drive strategic decision-making.

Support the tracking and monitoring of business development goals and objectives.

Experience Required:

Candidate with Proven experience of up to 5 years in a similar role, preferably in business development or sales support.

Academia: Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

Personal Attributes :

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling proposals and presentations.

Strong analytical and research abilities, with proficiency in market research and data analysis.

Proficiency in using productivity tools such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,Outlook) and ERP systems.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strategic mind set and ability to think critically to identify and pursue business opportunities.

Knowledge of the industry and market trends related to the organization’s products/services is a plus.
